Ekaterinburg - industrial and cultural center of Ural region. Ural mountains divide Europe and Asia.
Novosibirsk - the biggest city in Siberia and 3rd largest in Russia. Beautiful Altay mountains are in about 400 km.
Krasnoyarsk - center of Krasnoyarsk region, 2nd biggest city in Siberia, is situated on the shore of the Enisey River.
Irkutsk - probably the most popular city to make a stop in during a Trans Siberian tour. From Irkutsk, it is only 60 km to Listvyanka village on the shore of famous Baikal Lake.
Ulan Ude - capital of Buryatia republic, situated on the Eastern shore of Baikal. Another popular stopover during a Trans Siberian tour. Ulan Ude is famouse for several Buddhist Monasteries located in the area.
Vladivostok - city on the Russian Far East, port on the Pacific ocean. It is the ending point of the Eastbound Trans Siberian Tour or the starting point of the Westbound Trans Siberian tour.
Ulaan Baatar - capital of Mongolia.
Beijing - capital of China.

Traveling from Moscow to Irkutsk

You can leave from Moscow To Irkutsk daily, several trains are operated between these cities.
