This St. Petersburg tour includes excursions to the major sights of the city -
historical centre, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Pushkin, the Hermitage Museum and Peterhof (Petrodvorets).
We highly recommend this tour for summer when fountains in Peterhof are working.
In winter we suggest changing Peterhof for Yusupov Palace.
The tour is customizable and if you arrive in St. Petersburg in the morning or depart in the
evening you can have a full day for the tours and save on the hotel.
You may also wish to add more Saint Petersburg sightseeing or attend a ballet performance
at one of the great Saint Petersburg theatres.

Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning we travel to the town of Pushkin or Tsarskoe Selo as the
place was initially named. Located in the vicinity of St. Petersburg,
Pushkin is one of the most impressive royal residences of the city.
The rooms of Catherine's Palace are beautifully decorated and furnished.
The gem of the Palace is the Amber room, a masterpiece of the 18th Century which was lost in
WW2 and fully restored in 2003.
Catherine's Park located around the Palace is a peaceful place with picturesque ponds,
alleys and pavilions. After a pleasant walk in the Park we take our trip back to the hotel.
In the afternoon we continue with the city tour of St. Petersburg.
We explore the main avenues, streets and squares of the historical centre of the city.
The tour includes a visit to St.Isaac's Cathedral - a huge church with spectacular mosaics and malachite columns.
An impressive view on the city opens from the top of the terrace of the Cathedral.

Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning we leave for the walking tour to the Hermitage Museum.
Housed in the magnificent building of the Winter Palace of the Russian Tzars,
this Saint Petersburg Museum features one of the World's best and biggest collections of works of art from the
ancient times to the modern era.
After the guided tour you can stay in the Hermitage on your own till the Museum closes.
Free evening.

Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel.
This day we leave for the trip to the magnificent Imperial residence of Peterhof (Petrodvorets).
We walk to the boat pier located close to the Hermitage and take a boat to Peterhof.
It was the most famous Russian Tzar Peter the Great who ordered to build this
residence by the coast of the Gulf of Finland.
We visit the Grand Palace but the main attractions of Petergof are beautiful shining
fountains and green gardens.
Evening is free. We can arrange a visit one of St. Petersburg theatres to enjoy beautiful Russian ballet.
